Upper class style guide
The upper class knows how to dress elegantly and expensive. Many of us would like to achieve that look as well! I am sure you will ask yourself: What is the upper class style? Isn't it expensive to dress this way? or : Does dressing in designer clothes equal looking high maintenance? So, here comes a style guide that answers all of your questions on how to dress expensive and upper class!

These are a few examples of upper class styling! As you can see, you need more than just clothes to achieve that look. All of the outfits above contain good styling. For example hair: If you want to look expensive, you need to take good care of your hair and skin. Many upper class people tend to get a blow out for their hair and wear decent make up. The main goal it to have healthy hair, no matter if you have short or long hair. So if your roots are grown out or your hairtips are looking dry, you could think of getting a haircut and using the right products. Here are a few products I use: Hair oil, Curl definer and Garnier Conditioner, for shiny and healthy hair. As already mentioned, looking natural is important for looking elegant. You should figure out, which colours suit you, which you can do by researching or getting a colour analysis. This is not only important for clothing but also essential for choosing the right colours for your make up, that look flattering on your skin. Most upper class people avoid long fake lashes. That doesn't mean you can't wear them, but If you want to look upper class, you should go for a more natural look. Of course your nails are part of your look too! Make sure to take care of them. Chipped nail polish is a no-go. And for an elegant type of look, less is more. So make sure your nails aren't too long and tacky. Aim for more decent nails: rule number 1: The best nail colours for upper class ladies are nude, light pink, red and french! But of course, other nail colours can be elegant too. For example this seasons trend manicure, passion fruit yellow! If you are not that talented when it comes to nails, make sure to go to a nail salon or keep your manicure simple with just a top coat! My advice: use gel-polish that cures under a UV-lamp. Another aspect is smell! Make sure you smell good, by showering, using bodycream and using perfume. I am sure you have a scent that you love! By the way, perfume is nothing to save on! A lot of really cheap perfumes smell artifically, so make sure you really like that scent because it is one of the first things noticed and it even makes an impact on your mood! Some of my personal favorites are: Coco Mademoiselle Chanel, Hypnotic Poison by Dior and Pure Suduction by Victorias secret. Click here for more of my favorite perfumes and products. And now for the final part, your outfit. One of the most important aspects is the quality of your pieces. Make sure the clothes you buy last long and the material is mostly natural. I recommend tweed satin and wool. These materials do not only look expensive, but they will also last you along time. Quality over quantity! Of course it is not necessary for you to buy designer items, but you can thrift high quality items and even buy them for cheap at certain places. Even H&M has a few high quality staples. But what are staples and why are they so important for an elegant wardrobe? Some people think looking expensive means: logo, logo, logo and exaggerated styling, but that is not the case. You will not find a lot of elegant people who wear these types of clothes, because it actually makes you look cheap. You will need basic pieces in your wardrobe to achieve the upper class look. A few staples you need are: A basic pair of jeans (make sure they are flattering), a black blazer, a black belt, a basic pair of trousers or pants, a black pencil skirt, a little black dress, a white blouse (if you want take satin material because it doesn't wrinkle as much as the conventional material) and a basic white t-shirt. These staple pieces will help you build an outfit, especially on a daily basis. You will also need jewellery and especially pearl accessoires because they are a must to elevate your look. Upper class ladies make sure they dress for the occaison and they don't dress overly revealing! Of course you should feel good and confident in your clothes, because your attitude and elegant behaviour is part of your look Here is more on that. For conclusion: Dressing Upper Class contains healthy hair, skin, nails and a good smell but also good quality styling. Remember: less is more!
